Delhi Assembly: A Stage for… You Guessed It, More Performative Outrage!

NEW DELHI – Oh, honey, did you THINK the political theater was over? As if! Atishi, the Leader of Opposition (read: professional complainer), is screeching louder than a dial-up modem again. Apparently, the BJP had the audacity to… wait for it… checks notes …ENFORCE THE RULES THEY THEMSELVES VOTED FOR!!!

Atishi claims the poor, sweet AAP MLAs are being barred from entry! Can you even IMAGINE the injustice?!?! These brave souls, temporarily benched for turning the Delhi Assembly into their personal chai party (complete with “Jai Bhim” chants), are being… gasp… held accountable.

Because, like, freedom of expression, right? But only if everyone expresses the EXACT. SAME. OPINION. AS. ME.

Let's get real: Atishi's caterwauling about BJP dictatorship is so last season. It’s like, when isn't it a dictatorship if someone disagrees with you? eye roll

And OMG, the drama over Ambedkar’s portrait! Allegedly "removed" from the CM’s office (probably just redecorating, tbh)? Is this really the hill they want to die on? Because, like, I barely remember who that even is – is he on TikTok?

And don't EVEN get me started on the histrionics outside the CM's office. The AAP MLAs, clutching their Ambedkar portraits like they're limited-edition handbags? Yasss, queens, protest! Werk those outrage angles!

But let's be honest, the real story here is the CAG report on the liquor policy. But no one cares about that! BORING! Much more exciting to scream about symbolic portraits and victim complexes. That’s what gets the likes, amirite?

Anyways, Amanatullah Khan conveniently skipped the whole suspension fiesta because #priorities. Guess he actually had something better to do than participate in this manufactured outrage.

So, what’s the takeaway, fam? More virtue signaling, more performative protest, and more of the same ol’ song and dance that keeps us glued to our screens. Stay tuned for the next episode of “Delhi Politics: The Reality Show Where Everyone’s a Victim!”

Because, if you don’t repeat it, does it even exist?
